1️⃣ Position the Vehicles

- Positive (+) — usually red
- Negative (-) — usually black
3️⃣ Connect the Jump Leads in the Correct Order
- Connect red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the flat battery.
- Connect the other red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the working battery.
- Connect black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the working battery.
- Connect the final black clamp to an unpainted metal surface on the car with the flat battery (not directly to the negative terminal).
